    Dungeons and Dragons Books

I dig this idea. Hugely into gothic D&D settings and whatnot. I'm a Lord Soth/Ravenloft boy at heart.

    Vampire - Deadhaus Alliance?

Zorin doesn't strike me as dull-witted enough to commit to Nagaztak's war if there wasn't already a plan in place for people farms.

    Anyone hear of V Rising?

Man, why's every game (besides Deadhaus) gotta be isometric/zoomed out? I'd be way more excited for V Rising if it was third person.

Thank you for pointing this out.

    Ghoul Magic

It may be as simple as the ghoul is a conduit for the magic its creator imbues upon it. In the story the ghoul has absolutely no control over the magic, it just triggers when it does things that ghouls do, because the lich or whoever designed the magic to trigger when those things happen...

    Vampire Looks (please read)

I didn't know we'd change over ages. That's hella cool.

Be Not Afraid...The Haus of Angels.

I guess I worry over the idea that Deadhaus Sonata's main theme -- the dead -- will be superceded by other more powerful hauses as player character options. I'm fine with fighting angelhaus, gigahaus, demonhaus, but I don't ever want them to be player options that are more powerful and superior...

    Vampire Looks (please read)

I don't agree that Zorin looks like an orc. The only thing I'd change about him, were it up to me, is I'd have him either be fully bald or have a full head of hair (the goal of the monster vampire is to be enobled in its monstrosity, not downcast IMO) and I'd give him a proper nose. Maybe less...

Choose the look of the Legionnaires and VOTE NOW!

I love Z's helmet and his cape. He seems like the biggest boss in the room, the guy who doesn't need frills to advertise what a threat he is.

    Vampire Looks (please read)

That was more or less how I took it. It might be more literal, like Vampire the Masquerade 5e's Blush of Life spell, where you can invoke your blood to make your organs work and allows you to appear alive and even eat for a short period. (You still have to puke whatever you ate, though.)

Please Don't Make This an Inventory Management Simulator

GW2 is another example of an Inventory Management Simulator that burns my britches.

Please Don't Make This an Inventory Management Simulator

The issue isn't receiving a lot of loot. The issue is not having the space to contain it, and/or having to actively manage it so you can grab more. See here how Blizzard intentionally makes items multiple different shapes and your inventory a shape-based game mechanic? This is hell.

Please Don't Make This an Inventory Management Simulator

Everyone loves Diablo and its successors, but one thing I just can't stand is how Diablo does loot. Having to stop every two minutes to take stock of your inventory, overview each single item and compare them against eachother just to decide which one to toss out and lose forever. I can't and...

Would raids within deadhaus be a good addition along other main things you can do such as quests, story, combat, And should it affect the World/Story

I was having a shower thought about this topic. I know SWTOR was considered a bad MMO when it first came out, but I think it handled this topic well. ESO kind of handles it similarly. You see, your class story's nemesis was never in a dungeon, nor a raid. Dungeons and raids had their own stories...

Would raids within deadhaus be a good addition along other main things you can do such as quests, story, combat, And should it affect the World/Story

I guess my worry is that raids will be where all of the story's points will end. No grand mano a mano confrontations just conglomerate mass zerging the boss. That wouldn't be satisfying for me, or feel much like Legacy of Kain at all.

What is your favorite Legacy of Kain game?

If it got down to brass tacks, I'd say that Blood Omen 2 is my favorite by virtue of it being my introduction to the Legacy of Kain. I wasn't too much a fan of the steampunk, nor of the hylden (especially after I played all of the other games) but I really dig this young, not quite fledgling's...

Dangers of your True Name Discussion

That might be true, but imo that's playing with fire. You'd need a passionately dedicated fanbase to ensure people didn't quit enmasse when something as huge as an entire guild's vault being raided happens -- or something more permanent happens, such as your true name is made publicly known.

Dangers of your True Name Discussion

I can't imagine that True Names will be an issue amongst players. The abuse would be unreal. It seems to me that it's far more likely to be a story implement in the game's campaign -- whether you tell NPC allies, whether NPC enemies discover your true name (or you discover theirs) may be a...

Class locking weapons, where do you stand?

I'm of the opinion that class locking weapons is acceptable within reason. For example, WoW did it well for years. Death Knights could use greatswords, great hammers, and they could use longswords and hammers. I probably wouldn't play a Revenant if they were warhammer only.
