Will the newer art direction effect the current founder packs? Since there has been a fairly strong shift in design will that be directed towards the current packs and the cosmetics involved

No, not really. The options will be the same with new changes in the updated art direction. As we start to show more of the game, hopefully, all early backers will be satisfied. However, if there are significant concerns with any changes, we will make adjustments to satisfy those who bought the original packs before the changes were made.
