I've been thinking of some "battery" type sources for the class, things that can be held onto and used later. I designed them around the concept that you could carry as many as you could get your hands on but creating consequences for carrying more than you are currently able to handle. Also it's a work in progress and I haven't thought of anything for the Wight and Vampire yet.
Liche
Souls, ripped from the dead and bound to the Liche's current vessel. They are converted to mana and drained until depleted for whatever the Liche needs them for. The price of carrying more souls than they are currently able to handle is that it restricts their ability to regenerate mana, even beginning to drain it if they continue to collect souls.
Banshee
Echos, screams of fear from the fallen that reverberate throughout the Banshee's body and can be directed towards fueling their powers. The more the Banshee carries the harder it is to contain them and go undetected, making stealth impossible after a certain threshold has been crossed.
Ghoul
Corpulance, the ghoul takes on extra weight to the point of morbid obesity when consuming more than is required that can be expended later in times of famine and need. The consequences of taking on too much extra weight results in a slowing of the ghoul's movements, as well rendering them unable to keep their armor equiped as it no longer fits.
Wraith
Dead-eyes, the eyes of the fallen with the pain they held at the time of their demise sealed within them and carried within lids that are scattered throughout the Wraith's body. The pain can be called upon to power the Wraith's abilities, closing the eyes with the lids vanishing from the body once they are used up. The eyes become a vulnerablility for the Wraith as they take on too many, lowering their defense more and more as they increase the number of eyes their body carries past their current threshold.
Revenant
Aura of Wrath, glyphs ingrained in the armor of the Revenant. They contain the aura's of the vanquished, their anger and fury that can be channeled later. The more glyphs the Revenant carries beyond what they can contain the greater their own extends outward, making their presence felt from further away and leading to more enemies converging upon them from the area.
