Actually looking into it, both the names Dracula and Alucard are both on Public Domain. As long as you don't make them carbon copies of the other several dozen Dracula's and Alucards that are used in IP's such as castlevania, or hollywood movies, both names are free game. That being said, still a predictable and unoriginal name at this point.

Oh, dude, there's an indie book series about Johnathan and Mina Harker's son who lives with his uncle Dracula and hunts demons. You can literally do everything with the whole cast of characters.
