Hi Everyone, Join @Jack Lindsey, @Jalen.P and me (@Denis Dyack) as we do our next Narrative Stream on Wednesday, August 12th, @ 4 pm EDT. In this stream, we will do deep dives into the narrative and theory behind Deadhaus Sonata. In this stream, we will also roll out our new structure for streams moving forward. They will be a very different format from the previous streams and much more focused on Deadhaus Sonata. We look forward to seeing everyone there and getting your feedback on this new direction.
Hey everyone! A very quick announcement, we've moved all of our previously aired Twitch vods onto a separate Youtube channel to remove the clutter and make sure that channel is used for Deadhaus Sonata updates and related content. All of our future streams will also go onto there once they're done, so subscribe if you don't want to miss out! You can find our new Youtube Channel here!
Hey everyone! This is an announcement to let you know that the Community Roundtable streams as you know them are no more. While we did really enjoy showing off your forum threads, ideas and memes about Deadhaus, we also need to remember that right now we're focused on growing our community. The more people we reach out to and bring into the world of Deadhaus the better, and the fact is the Community Roundtable streams were not our most popular content we have put out. We want to put out content that everybody will enjoy, both long-standing community members and newcomers who are just discovering Deadhaus. As such, we will not be streaming today (July 28th) as usual. Over the past week or so we've been asking for your feedback on what...
Hello everyone! We are looking to change the format of the Community Round Table stream so each stream is both unique & interesting. We know showing off your forum threads is a great way to show that we are listening to ideas and paying attention to feedback, but we know there are areas we can improve the streams. We'd love to hear what your ideas for the Roundtable streams are, so let us know!
We finished Eternal Darkness on today's stream, so we need you guys to let us know what you'd like to see next! Vote below, everybody gets to vote for 2 options. If you vote for the "Other Option", please let us know what you'd like to see in the comments!
After input from the illustrious @Golden Xan , I am pleased to announce a new kind of developer stream. Starting next Wednesday, at 4:00 PM EST, @Denis Dyack and myself will be hosting a Worldbuilding Town Hall on Twitch. The current plan is to stream this once a month and watch what kind of response it gets. Feedback will influence future streaming content directions. The Worldbuilding Town Hall will discuss lore, classes, characters, stories, and overall worldbuilding elements at a level of depth that is suited for the more hardcore members of our audience. These sessions will have a literary and industry-minded focus, and a more serious approach to the topics therein.
As per your requests, I have amended the vampire and revenant class descriptions to be more in line with the other classes in terms of length. They are now visible on the Classes section of the Explore tab. There is also a new version of "Seven Suns in Twilight" in the Necrolibriatas. As always, your feedback is most appreciated.
Support Deadhaus Sonata! As you guys all know, getting people to come and take a look at a video game is almost as much work as developing the entire game. They are incredibly important steps, since it doesn't matter how good your game is if no one's ever heard about it on release. And while Scott works tirelessly on social media to make our name known, there is an incredibly useful form of advertising he can't access directly: Word of mouth. By simply having a friend tell you about their positive experience with a game, you are more likely to purchase it. That's why we've created an affiliate program for Apocalypse studios! Using Xsolla, you can join our partner program by clicking on this link to help us grow our audience. By...
